Thank you for always visiting us. This is Kadokura from Hephol.
This time, I'd like to explain the finishing of Hephol's jewelry.

There are several options for jewelry finishing.
You can polish it to a mirror-like shine, or you can intentionally leave the texture of the material.
At Hephol, we use a hairline finish for many of our items.
This is because we want to cherish a certain "ambiguity" where the reflection changes subtly when light hits it, and the expression changes depending on the viewing angle.
A mirror-polished finish may certainly be one form of perfection.
However, we consider the fine scratches that accumulate over time and the deepening of the color to be part of the intrinsic value of the material itself.

Of course, if everything had an ambiguous finish, it would give a vague impression.
We apply a mirror finish to necessary areas, such as the bezel around the coin and the inside of the ring, incorporating a crisp element into the gentle atmosphere.
With a hairline finish, the lines engraved on the surface gradually smooth out as the jewelry rubs against clothing and objects through repeated use.
The matte texture gradually gains more luster, resulting in a three-dimensional finish.
However, rather than viewing this as "wear," we hope you will enjoy the accumulation of time as the process of developing your own unique luster.
Of course, we also offer re-finishing. Please feel free to consult with us.
It's not overly perfected from the start.
This is also "room to grow" for the daily life and time of the person who holds it.
The more you use it, the more it develops its own unique character.
We believe that the true joy of jewelry lies in this process of change.
