Traces engraved on coins

Thank you for always watching. This is Kadokura from Heohol.
This time, I would like to talk about antique coins.

The coins used in Hephol jewelry are
real antique coins that were once actually in circulation.
Their issue dates and backgrounds vary, and they have been passed down through long years to remain in our hands today.
The wear, small scratches, and chips visible on the surface of the coins.
These are one-of-a-kind "expressions" created by the passage of time.
At Hephol, we don't see these as flaws, but rather embrace them as traces of the time that the coins have traversed.
We also have an important guideline for processing.
That is, not to damage the coin itself.
We do not solder parts directly to the coin or drill holes in it.
We fix the material without damaging it and make it into jewelry.
By avoiding excessive processing and limiting it to the bare minimum, we achieve both the original texture of the antique and a sense of security when wearing it.
We tailor it with respect for the material and its individuality.
The one-of-a-kind jewelry created in this way will develop more character the more it is used.

We hope you enjoy naturally wearing it in your daily life and the process of it changing over time.
