Introducing the MONOLITH Coin Ring - Constantius II

Thank you for always reading our posts. This is Kadokura from Hephol.

This time, I'd like to introduce a ring featuring a substantial coin of Constantius II.

MONOLITH - Constantius II  (SV925)

This is a unique piece featuring a follis bronze coin issued during the reign of Emperor Constantius II of the ancient Roman Empire (reigned 337-361 AD), set in SV925 silver.

The obverse features the emperor's heroic profile.
He is wearing a diadem, a type of crown tied with a ribbon, creating a dynamic design.

Around it is inscribed the Latin "FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C," representing his name.

The reverse features two soldiers facing each other, with two military standards erected between them.
The inscription "GLORIA EXERCITVS" around it means "the glory of the army."
This design was widely used to celebrate the unity and strength of the military during a turbulent era when defending the vast empire's borders was paramount.

This one is made in size 14.
Since the coin is a bit large, it has a strong presence, but the lower part of the coin has a gentle curve, so it's not too rugged and should be comfortable to wear.

Quietly layering the spirit of Rome, passed down through time, with modern sensibilities.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece, subtly encapsulating Hephol's philosophy.

Please experience the historical depth of the coin in your own hands.

MONOLITH Coin Signet Ring -ConstantiusⅡ

By the way, his grandfather was Constantius I, his father was Constantine I, his older brother was Constantine II, he was Constantius II, his younger brother was Constans I, and his daughter was Constantia. It can get confusing!
